Psychotherapy is more likely to be a valuable experience for you if you find a therapist you feel comfortable talking to and believe can help you. I hope this website gives you an initial sense of who I am and whether I might be helpful to you. I tend to work well with people wanting to understand themselves better and address the psychological foundations of the problems bringing them to therapy. I often work with adults seeking treatment due to childhood trauma and emotional neglect. A large part of my practice is with queer people seeking affirming and meaningful psychotherapy with a relationally-focused therapist.​

In the type of therapy I practice, psychodynamic psychotherapy, we work together to help you better understand yourself, improve your relationships, and develop your abilities to feel and think about difficult aspects of your life. At a reduced rate, I also offer psychoanalysis - an intensive form of treatment particularly well suited for those interested in deeper self-awareness and psychological change. For mental health professionals, I offer clinical supervision, consultation, and training.
